(LaPresse) – Javier Milei’s government in Argentina has confirmed that Flavio Bolsonaro, a former candidate in Sunday’s presidential election in Brazil who lost to Lula, entered Argentina by land and subsequently flew to Ecuador with his family. “At 22:50 on 27 October, Flavio Nantes Bolsonaro, Fernanda Antunes Figueira Bolsonaro, Carolina Figueira Bolsonaro and Luiza Figueira Bolsonaro crossed the border via the Tancredo Neves International Bridge in the province of Misiones. They were in possession of valid travel documents and there were no legal impediments to their entry into the country,” stated Argentina’s National Directorate of Immigration, adding that “their passage was recorded by the relevant authorities without incident” and “at 11.30 pm, the arriving group boarded a private flight operated by Baires Fly S.A. bound for the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador, as indicated in the flight plan”. The Argentine newspaper *La Nación* adds that their final destination is reportedly the United States. A few hours ago, an official from the US State Department reported that Flavio Bolsonaro and his family had been granted visas.
