Milan, 28 Oct. (LaPresse) – In August 2026, it is estimated that industrial turnover, net of seasonal factors, will fall by 0.9 per cent in value and 3.5 per cent in volume on a month-on-month basis. This is reported by Istat, which specifies that on a year-on-year basis, industrial turnover, adjusted for calendar effects, recorded an increase in value (+4.2 per cent) and a fall in volume (-2.9 per cent). For the services sector, net of calendar effects, there was a year-on-year increase of 3.6 per cent in value and a decrease of 0.5 per cent in volume. On a month-on-month basis, however, there was a 0.3 per cent increase in the value of services turnover and a 0.3 per cent decrease in volume.
