Rome, May 5 (LaPresse) – At the Internazionali d’Italia, Jannik Sinner will make his debut in the second round against the winner of the match between Argentina’s Mariano Navone and young Italian wildcard Federico Cinà. This is the result of the men’s draw held at the Trevi Fountain. “It won’t be easy, I hope I can get through the round and then we’ll see what happens,” said Cinà.
Sinner, the No. 1 seed, is in the top half of the draw alongside Taylor Fritz. Potential quarterfinal opponents include Casper Ruud or Matteo Berrettini. Lorenzo Musetti, on the other hand, finds himself in the same half as Alexander Zverev. This means Sinner avoids Carlos Alcaraz until a possible final.

Sinner (bye) – vs. winner of Navone-Cinà
