Rome, 29 Oct. (LaPresse) – “Normal rail services will be guaranteed tomorrow.” This is according to sources at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), who emphasised that, “following Minister Salvini’s order to call off the strike, FS has in fact confirmed that services will run as scheduled”. “Train services,” it is emphasised, “will therefore be guaranteed, and Salvini’s order to call off the strike will allow millions of workers and passengers to travel despite the strike called by the Unione Sindacale di Base (USB). The usual Friday strike will not bring Italy to a standstill.”
