Kherson (Ukraine), 30 Oct. (LaPresse/AP) – Some residents of Oleshky, a town occupied by Russia, have been evacuated and the group is travelling by land to Anapa. This was reported by Davyd Arakhamia, a Ukrainian MP from President Volodymyr Zelensky’s party. “From there, they will fly to Belarus and then continue by bus to their homes,” he said. Today, a humanitarian convoy bound for Oleshky – comprising buses, ambulances and other vehicles – was organised in Armyansk and then entered the town of Oleshky after the roads had been cleared of mines, to allow those who wished to leave Oleshky to do so and to deliver aid to those who wished to stay. A localised ceasefire in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson has been in place for four days and is expected to continue until Sunday evening.
