Milan, Nov. 1 (LaPresse) – “Forza Italia welcomes the invitation to dialogue extended by CISL Secretary General Daniela Fumarola. I called her and we agreed to hold a meeting this week with me and our group leaders in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, Enrico Costa and Stefania Craxi, to discuss and examine CISL’s proposed amendments to the budget bill. It is important to listen to the reasons put forward by the trade union, with which we have already established significant cooperation on worker participation in businesses and which shares political and ideological ties with European popularism and its belief in the centrality of the individual and the social market economy”. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Forza Italia leader Antonio Tajani in a post on X. “Meanwhile, Forza Italia remains strongly committed to securing, as part of the budget bill, a dedicated pension scheme for law enforcement and armed forces personnel that takes into account the specific nature of the services they perform to ensure everyone’s security, as has also been demonstrated in recent days by the violence at street demonstrations and the tragedy involving our helicopter in Bosnia”, he added.
