Jerusalem, Nov. 2 (LaPresse) – “The Israeli public does not want a government that depends on Ra’am and the Joint List – parties that support terrorism and deny the existence of the Jewish state. From the very first day, we have extended our hand towards the formation of a broad-based national government.” This is what outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote in a social media post. “A clear majority of the Jewish public has chosen Likud as the largest party and me, as prime minister, to lead the next government,” Netanyahu continued. “We aim to form a broad-based government with our partners and with any party that wishes to join and does not support terrorism. I am available to begin a dialogue on this matter.”
