This is not a war, it’s a soft war” and there are “excellent chances of reaching an agreement”. US President Donald Trump said this in an interview with Fox News on the eve of the US midterm elections. “There is no war raging. It could happen if they don’t reach an agreement, but they really, really want to reach a deal and there are excellent chances that we will reach an agreement”, Trump stated. He added: “Their army is gone, their Navy is gone, their air force is gone, their air defences are gone, and they have some missiles, but not many, and they have a very limited ability to build more. They have drones, but not many, and they have a very limited ability to build more”, he said, adding that the US is negotiating from a position of “total strength” and that the conflict can be brought to an end “at any moment”.
