Rome, 6 Nov. (LaPresse) – “Darren has been an incredibly important part of my journey. Together with Simone and the whole team, we’ve achieved goals I’ve been dreaming of since I was a child. Winning five Grand Slam titles and reaching world number one together are achievements I’ll always cherish with great pride, but what matters just as much to me is the relationship we’ve built along the way.” Jannik Sinner said this in a statement announcing his split from Cahill at the end of 2026. “I want to thank Darren for believing in me, for his sincerity and for his dedication. He has helped me grow both as a player and as a person, and his teachings will stay with me throughout my career. We have shared so many special moments over the last five years and, even though our coaching partnership is coming to an end, our friendship will continue,” added the current world number two.
