Rome, 8 Nov. (LaPresse) – “Inter proved to be a class above; we must accept that and get back on track with our heads held high. We didn’t start the match well, misplaced a few passes and lost a bit of confidence. It may also be down to playing our ninth match in 26 days, but we must carry on with our journey. Are we still reeling from the nine goals in the Champions League? Perhaps, but we’re on a new journey – we’d have signed up for all of this. My own expectations are rising too, but today is not the time to criticise anyone. We gave it our all today; they were the better side, both physically and tactically. Congratulations to them.” So said Cesc Fabregas, Como’s manager, to Sky Sport after the defeat to Inter.
