The Tuscan tennis player, number 6 in the ranking, beat the young US hopeful Jovic 7-6 1-6 6-3, earning herself a challenge with the Romanian Cristian in the third round. Bronzetti also did well, who beat Poland's Frech 6-3 7-5 and will take on Sabalenka in the next round.
