Ukraine, von der Leyen Speaks with Zelensky: "Working on Tougher Sanctions"

Brussels, May 20 (LaPresse) – “I just finished a phone call with Zelensky. We are working closely together to define the next steps. Europe has just adopted its 17th package of tough sanctions. An 18th package, with even stricter sanctions, is being prepared. It is time to increase pressure on Russia to ensure a ceasefire is implemented,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on social media.
