Ukraine, speaker of the US House of Representatives: “Zelensky either comes to his senses or resigns”

Washington (USA), March 2 (LaPresse/AP) – “Something has to change. Either he comes to his senses and comes back to the table, with gratitude, or someone else has to lead the country”. This was said by the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, on NBC's 'Meet the Press', referring to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to Johnson, “it's up to the Ukrainians to figure it out.” The Republican speaker then added that, under President Donald Trump, the United States is “reaffirming peace through strength.” The idea of Zelensky's resignation had emerged on Friday after the meeting in the Oval Office. US Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters outside the White House that Zelensky “either needs to resign or he needs to send somebody that we can deal with or he needs to change.”
