We must be vigilant about this, especially when dealing with adolescents," said Pope Leo XIV during an audience in the Vatican with Napoli, champions of Italy.
"I appeal to parents and sports managers: we must pay close attention to the moral quality of the sporting experience at a competitive level, because the human development of young people is at stake. I think we understand each other, and there’s no need for many words," the pontiff added.
