Moscow, May 27 (LaPresse) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov thanked Turkey for its assistance in organizing direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
"We appreciate the opportunities that the Republic of Turkey has once again offered for the next stage of direct negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations," Lavrov said at the beginning of a meeting in Moscow with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
