Prato: 30-year-old woman missing, lawyer under investigation

Florence, May 28 (LaPresse) – As part of the investigation opened by the Prato prosecutor’s office into the disappearance of 30-year-old Romanian Maria Denisa Adas, who has been missing since the night between May 15 and 16, a 44-year-old lawyer from Reggio Calabria has reportedly been registered as a suspect for the charge of kidnapping in complicity with others. The news was reported this morning by Corriere della Sera and Repubblica. The young woman, who worked as an escort, was staying at a residence in Prato on Via Ferrucci to meet clients. Investigators believe the lawyer could be directly involved in the alleged kidnapping or may possess crucial information about what happened to the 30-year-old. Carabinieri have already conducted searches and started DNA and fingerprint extraction operations from the residence room where Denisa Maria Adas received clients by appointment, from the woman’s car, and from personal items kept at her mother’s home in Rome. Other individuals possibly involved in the alleged kidnapping are compatriots of the victim who operate in the prostitution world in Rome. The investigation led by prosecutor Luca Tescaroli is also focusing on two phone calls made by the 30-year-old after her last call to her mother at 11:30 p.m. on May 15.
