Milan, 5 November (LaPresse) – Black Friday, Singles’ Day and Cyber Monday are now well-established events in the Italian consumer calendar. From simple international curiosities, these events have become a veritable seasonal shopping ritual, eagerly awaited and planned in the same way as traditional sales. Today, 97% of Italians are familiar with Black Friday, 85% with Cyber Monday and 56% with Singles’ Day, and around 70% admit to deliberately postponing purchases during the year to take advantage of autumn promotions. This is what emerges from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Black Friday Survey 2025, conducted on over 10,000 consumers in North America, Europe and Australia, including 1,023 in Italy. The analysis shows that around 60% of Italian consumers start looking for offers between October and early November, planning to spend an average of around $420 (£360) during the upcoming shopping events.
