Budget law, Giorgetti: “I believe we will manage to make hyper-depreciation multi-year”

Rome, 3 Dec. (LaPresse) – “The government has proposed to Parliament to allocate around €9 billion to businesses over three years” and “the main measure we are finalizing is hyper-depreciation for investments and technologically advanced materials, as well as for energy efficiency and renewable energy investments.” This was stated by Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti in a video call with the Confimi Industria Assembly, speaking about the business measures included in the budget law. “The productive sector, including Confimi, has asked us to give these measures a multi-year horizon; we are doing this. I believe that compared to the original measure submitted to Parliament, we will be able to guarantee this multi-year horizon,” Giorgetti explained. “We are currently working to respond to this request.”
