GDP: IMF cuts Italy’s estimate to +0.7% in 2026, raises 2027 to +0.7%

Milan, 19 January (LaPresse) – The International Monetary Fund expects Italy’s gross domestic product to grow by 0.7% in 2026 and 2027. The Fund wrote this in its January update of its World Economic Outlook, cutting its estimate for this year by 0.1% and revising its estimate for 2027 upwards by 0.1% compared to its October 2025 forecasts.
