Stellantis grows almost twice as fast as the market in January (+11.8%)

Milan, 2 February (LaPresse) – Stellantis gets off to a flying start in Italy in 2026. In January, the Group grew almost twice as fast as the entire national market in Italy, according to last month’s registration figures compiled by Dataforce. In the ranking of the best-selling cars, the top four positions are all Stellantis: in first place is the Fiat Pandina (13,394), in second place is the Jeep Avenger (5,133), in third place is the Citroën C3 (3,576) and in fourth place is the Fiat Grande Panda (3,299). With 46,452 registrations, the brands belonging to Stellantis (including Leapmotor) achieved overall growth of 11.8% compared to 6.18% for the entire domestic market, which had 141,980 registrations. Stellantis’s market share was 32.6%, up 1.6% compared to the same month last year. The Stellantis Group and the FIAT brand therefore remain firmly in first place in the Italian car sales rankings thanks to the excellent performance of the Fiat Pandina (total PC market share of 8.6%), followed in second place among the best-selling cars by the Jeep Avenger (total PC market share of 3.3%), which continues to hold the record for the best-selling SUV in Italy. In third place is the Citroën C3, the best-selling car in its segment, while in fourth place is the Fiat Grande Panda, which will expand its range next month with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine version combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
