Milan, 1 April. (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announces that in March 2026, 185,367 cars were registered compared to the 172,271 registrations registered in the same month of the previous year, equal to an increase of 7.6%. There were 559,286 ownership transfers compared to 512,698 transfers recorded in March 2025, with an increase of 9.09%. The global volume of monthly sales, equal to 744,653, involved 24.89% new cars and 75.11% used cars. The registrations represent the results of the National Vehicle Archive as of March 31, 2026, while the data relating to ownership transfers refer to the certifications issued by the Motorization Offices in March 2026.
