Milan, 14 April (LaPresse) – The International Monetary Fund expects Italy’s gross domestic product to grow by 0.5% in both 2026 and 2027. The Fund states this in the January update to its World Economic Outlook, cutting its forecast for this year and for 2027 by 0.2% compared with the January projections. The downward revision is 0.3% for the 2026 forecast and 0.1% for the 2027 forecast compared to the October 2025 forecasts.
