Rome, April 23. (LaPresse) – “Today is a wonderful day for me. Looking forward to May 1st, this first meeting is crucial for us today. I have to thank everyone for being here with us. We have begun to write a roadmap of things to do, I believe it is an excellent opportunity for Europe and Italy to exchange. We have already announced our mission from September 7th to 11th, I believe it is a great opportunity to grow our businesses, our area and their area to grow products. There are immense spaces for collaboration, to date we have around 15 billion in exchanges but I believe that these 4 billion fewer costs and tariffs will allow us to strengthen it.” This was stated by Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini at a press conference following the High-Level Meeting on Italy-Mercosur Economic Relations, a meeting with major industrial organizations and representatives of Mercosur countries. “Already today there are 13,000 companies with Italian capital in Mercosur and 8,000 that export to the area. I believe that even given the geopolitical situation there are many lines to develop,” he adds.
Mercosur, Orsini: “Let’s start writing roadmaps; it’s a great opportunity.”
