Milan, 28 April (LaPresse) – The 2026 tax return season is underway: from the afternoon of Thursday 30 April, pre-filled 730 tax returns – containing data held by the tax authorities or submitted by external bodies such as employers, pharmacies and banks – will be available for viewing on the Revenue Agency’s website. In total, more than 1.3 billion pieces of information have been submitted for the 2026 pre-filled forms. The submission of the 730 form and any amendments will be possible from 14 May until 30 September. The Revenue Agency has announced this, noting that in 2025, 5.4 million 730 forms were submitted directly by taxpayers, of which 3.2 million – almost 60% – were submitted using the simplified method, which is also available this year.
