ECB Governing Council raises interest rates by 25 basis points

Frankfurt (Germany), 10 Sept. (LaPresse) – The ECB Governing Council decided today to raise its three key interest rates by 25 basis points. Consequently, the interest rates on deposits with the central bank, on main refinancing operations and on marginal lending facilities will be raised to 2.50 per cent, 2.65 per cent and 2.90 per cent respectively, with effect from 16 September 2026.
