This was stated in a company release. “Tamoil Italia, a company belonging to the international Oilinvest group, has decided to adopt a series of measures aimed at mitigating the price of fuel sold through its branded service station network.” The statement explains that “the measures adopted are designed to generate benefits both for final consumers and for the economic sustainability of activities connected to the distribution network. The initiative will remain in effect until October 31, 2026.” Last night, sources at Palazzo Chigi said that “discussions between the Prime Minister’s Office and the Libyan government are well advanced to encourage Tamoil to join the appeal for a fuel price cap.”
