Milan, 15 Oct. (LaPresse) – From manufacturing to technology, and from industry to services, Italian companies continue to attract the attention of the international financial community. It was against this backdrop that the 2026 edition of Italian Excellences took place in Paris. The initiative, promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, led by Mauro Micillo, brings together international investors and Italian companies with high growth potential. Intesa Sanpaolo announced this in a press release. Through a comprehensive programme of around 400 meetings with over 90 institutional investors from the main European and international financial centres, representing 63 investment firms, the event aims to strengthen opportunities for access to capital and to support the development of the participating companies. The event forms part of the IMI CIB Division’s commitment to supporting the growth of the Italian business community, by providing specialist expertise, a well-established international presence and long-term relationships with investors and financial operators worldwide. This also encompasses the work of the Mid-Cap Corporate Finance unit, which supports Italian mid-cap companies with strategic advisory, M&A and special finance services to foster their growth and internationalisation. Massimo Mocio, Deputy Chief – Head of Global Banking & Markets at Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI CIB Division, said: “In an increasingly competitive economic environment, companies’ ability to broaden their investor base and engage with international markets is a key factor in sustaining their competitiveness. Italian companies possess an extraordinary wealth of expertise, industrial capabilities and entrepreneurial vision that continues to be valued by international investors. In particular, the mid-cap segment stands out for its dynamism, innovation and ability to compete successfully in global markets. Through ‘Italian Excellences’ and our numerous initiatives at European and international level, we aim to create concrete opportunities for these companies to engage with the financial community, facilitating access to the capital needed to support new paths of growth and development.” The initiative, in collaboration with Borsa Italiana, part of the Euronext Group, was organised by the Global Markets Sales teams of the IMI CIB Division and the Research Department of Intesa Sanpaolo. The following companies took part in the 2026 edition: Bologna Airport, Alia Mentis, Banca Ifis, Biesse, Brembo, Cementir, d’Amico International Shipping, De’ Longhi, Fila, Fine Foods, Generalfinance, LU-VE, MARR, Moltiply, Mondadori, NewPrinces, Orsero, Pattern, Reply, Sanlorenzo, Seco, Sogefi, Sys-Dat, WIIT and Zignago Vetro.
