Rome, Oct. 27 (LaPresse) – In the budget, “we will try to provide a response” to the middle class “in tax terms, and above all, we will do something for young people, for young working people. I think we have done the right thing; if I ask myself what more I could have done, I would have done something more for young people.” Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said this at the Moneta Forum. “A growing country needs this component of society, which is currently one of my biggest concerns. Looking at the medium-term outlook, the welfare system we have built will struggle to remain sustainable in a society with a declining population. This is something politicians need to reflect on,” he concluded.
