Milan, Nov. 1 (LaPresse) – Binance has announced that “withdrawals will resume in phases, with the first phase scheduled for November 1, 2026”, between 7 and 10 a.m. Italian time. The announcement was made by the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange platform after it suffered a cyberattack on October 30, with an impact of $6.3 billion. Binance explains that “deposits remain active and were not affected by the incident” and states that “users’ funds remain safe and that the platform itself — not users — will absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds”. The first phase of the resumption of withdrawals “covers a specific range of networks and assets, which will gradually become available; additional networks and assets will be added following further security and eligibility checks”. The company points out that “the previous suspension of withdrawals was a precautionary measure adopted by Binance to contain the incident, assess its impact, restore the affected services and complete security checks”.
