Rome, 8 Nov. (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy has announced that, according to the latest data collected by the Mimit Fuel Price Observatory, as of today – Sunday 8 November 2026 – the average price of self-service fuel across the national road network stands at 2.000 euros per litre for petrol and 2.223 euros per litre for diesel. On the motorway network, however, the average self-service price is 2.029 euros per litre for petrol and 2.277 euros per litre for diesel. Thanks to the price cap agreed to by the major oil companies, self-service prices nevertheless remain below 2 euros for petrol and 2.20 euros for diesel across most of the road network.
