Venice, Aug. 30 (LaPresse) – About thirty protesters from the Pro Pal march at the Lido in Venice managed to reach the beach, bypassing the police cordon, and staged a sort of flash mob at the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival. The small group waved a Palestinian flag in the air, shouting “Free Palestine.” Carabinieri, police, and finance police officers witnessed the scene on the beach without intervening. The event ended peacefully.
