Music, Baustelle releases “Pugili Impazziti” today: new single featuring Tananai

Rome, 23 October (LaPresse) – Pugili impazziti (BMG), the new single by Baustelle, is released today, marking their first collaboration with Tananai in an unprecedented artistic encounter. The song is now available on all streaming platforms. Pugili Impazziti sees the collision of two worlds that are only apparently distant: that of Baustelle and that of Tananai. The new single, the result of a spontaneous and natural collaboration, represents the perfect fusion between the melancholic elegance of the Tuscan band and the emotional sincerity of the Milanese singer-songwriter. The result is a song of desperate love – “the love of someone who has lost themselves in an inhospitable world”, as Francesco Bianconi defines it – capable of uniting two sensibilities that, despite coming from different galaxies, meet in a surprising harmony of sound and narrative. “Tananai is one of the best pop artists we have in Italy,” says Bianconi. ‘When I saw him take the stage at his first Sanremo, I was struck by the power of his performance: it was authentic in a world increasingly crowded with projects where artifice reigns and soul is latent.’ From that mutual admiration came the desire to share songwriting: “One day I wrote to him asking if he wanted to write a song together. He said yes enthusiastically and came to my studio, where we wrote Pugili impazziti.‘ The collaboration was then completed with Claudio Brasini, Rachele Bastreghi and producer Federico Nardelli, to ’create the best outfit for the song (whether it be a tuxedo or armour) to make it free and accessible to everyone in difficult times like these.”
