Therefore, I think it’s fantastic that Israel will continue to be part of the world’s biggest song competition in 2026 as well,” said German State Minister for Culture and Media Wolfram Weimer, regarding Israel’s inclusion in Eurovision 2026, as reported to LaPresse by the German Ministry of Culture. “I wish all participants the best of luck at ESC and hope we will have a great artist and a winning song. The Eurovision Song Contest is much more than just music. ESC is an opportunity to spend a wonderful evening with friends and celebrate the diversity of music,” Weimer added.
