Oscars: Costabile’s ‘Familia’ misses out on shortlist

Rome, Dec. 16 (LaPresse) – There is disappointment for Francesco Costabile’s film ‘Familia’, which has failed to make the shortlist for the upcoming edition of the Oscars in the best international feature film category. On the shortlist published on the Academy’s website, the selected titles are: ‘Belén’ (Argentina), ‘The Secret Agent’ (Brazil), ‘It Was Just an Accident’ (France), ‘Sound of Falling’ (Germany), ‘Homebound’ (India), ‘The President’s Cake’ (Iraq), ‘Kokuho’ (Japan), ‘All That’s Left of You’ (Jordan), ‘Sentimental Value’ (Norway), ‘Palestine 36’ (Palestine), ‘No Other Choice’ (South Korea), ‘Late Shift’ (Switzerland), ‘Sirât’ (Spain), ‘Left-Handed Girl’ (Taiwan) and ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ (Tunisia).
