Sanremo, Andrea Pucci withdraws from co-hosting the Festival

Rome, 8 February (LaPresse) – Andrea Pucci has reportedly withdrawn from co-hosting one of the evenings of the upcoming Sanremo Festival. Pucci had been announced by artistic director Carlo Conti as co-host of the evening of 26 February. The choice was contested online and by opposition politicians, who recalled some of the comedian’s “politically incorrect” remarks during his shows and on social media. Conti will now have to find a replacement, as well as finalising the list of guests and other co-hosts for the song contest.
