TV, Patrizia De Blanck dies at 85

Milan, Feb. 9 (LaPresse) – Patrizia De Blanck has died in Rome at the age of 85 after an illness. The announcement was made by her daughter Giada in a lengthy Instagram post. “With immense sorrow, I announce the passing of my mother, Countess Patrizia De Blanck,” she wrote. “My mother was an iconic figure, who marked an era of elegance, romance, and authenticity. With her, an irreplaceable chapter of my life and of an entire era comes to a close. Her courage, strength, and light will live forever in me. I thank those who loved her. Rest in peace, Mom, forever in my heart,” Giada added. Patrizia De Blanck, daughter of Lloyd Dario, the last descendant of the Venetian family that once owned Ca’ Dario palace, and of Cuban ambassador H.E. Guillermo De Blanck y Menocal, was also a television personality. Among her many appearances on TV programs were Chiambretti c’è in 2002, L’isola dei famosi in 2008, and Grande Fratello Vip in 2020.
