Rome, 18 June (LaPresse) – Vasco Rossi’s residency at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico will comprise ten dates: specifically 6, 7, 10, 11, 15, 16, 19, 20, 24 and 25 June 2027. Ten concert events set to draw over 500,000 people to the capital to celebrate the Emilian rocker’s 50-year career. The announcement was made in Bari, during the first of two dates at the Stadio San Nicola, as part of a tour that kicked off with the cry “We’re not like the Americans… who can shoot at the Indians” and has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm at every stop, from Rimini to Ferrara, right through to Olbia. And now in Bari. The decision to organise a residency spread over several dates stems from Vasco’s specific wish: “To turn this anniversary into an event that everyone can enjoy and take part in. Not a single event capable of bringing together hundreds of thousands of people in a single day, but a huge, widespread celebration, designed to allow everyone to experience the concert with greater ease, safety and quality,” he explained. The residency thus marks the final act of the ‘Vasco Jubilee’, the national celebration that Rome is dedicating to the Poet of Rock from spring 2027 onwards. Tickets for the ten concerts at the Stadio Olimpico in June 2027 will be available for early booking by members of the Il Blasco Fan Club from 12:00 on Monday 6 July at vascolive.vivaticket.it.
