Turin, June 29 (LaPresse) – Udine bids farewell to Vasco Rossi’s 2026 tour with two sold-out shows, on June 28 and 29, at the Bluenergy Stadium. In 2027, Rome will host ten concerts, a month-long celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the rocker from Zocca’s career with the largest residency ever staged in Italy. The ‘perfect’ setlist: The setlist of little-known songs, or the ‘missing songs,’ as the Kom calls them, literally surprised everyone, first and foremost the longtime fans who had dreamed of it for a long time but never imagined they would find songs such as: ‘Non siamo mica gli americani, che loro possono sparare agli indiani (Vacca gli indiani)’, ‘Fegato spappolato’, ‘Sono ancora in coma’, ‘Alibi’, ‘Ciao’, ‘Una nuova canzone per lei’ and even ‘Vado al massimo’ in a punk arrangement, all together in the same concert. These are all songs Vasco wrote between 1979 and 1987, the years in which he built his legend, blending rock and poetry, and which form the backbone of his entire discography. With more than three million tickets sold, Vasco Live has become one of the most important live music projects in Europe. The tour by the numbers: 504 people on the road, two days to dismantle the steel structures and three days to rebuild them. The real magic of 2026 was the return to stadiums and more intimate venues (with the exception of the urban park in Ferrara). After Ferrara, where he returned after about 40 years, another historic stop was Olbia, where he played his first concerts in 1987 and where Salmo came to welcome him to Sardinia. “I’m coming to your hometown,” had been the promise. And that promise was kept. From Rimini to Ferrara, from Olbia, from Bari to Ancona, and finally to Udine, where he had not performed since 2008.
