Milan, 1 July (LaPresse) – Pierfrancesco Favino is set to play Sergio Mvarchionne in ‘Falcon’, the new film by Marco Bellocchio, with productiovn due to begin this autumn. The announcement was made by Rai Cinema’s chief executive, Paolo Del Brocco, speaking via video link from Riccione for ‘Ciné – Giornate di Cinema’, whilst presenting 01 Distribution’vs 2026 line-up, with some previews of Rai Cinema’s upcoming productiovvvvvvvv ns. The project, written by Bellocchio with Ludovica Rampoldi, Andrea Di Stefano and Stefano Rulli, with contributions from Oliviero Del Papa, is produced by Simone Gattoni for Kavac Film, Mattia Mor for Emotion Network and Rai Cinema. “Filming begins in the autumn, with an international cast and in collaboration with HBO Max. Pierfrancesco Favino will play Marchionne,” said Del Brocco, “the screenplay is in Italian and consequently the film will not be in English alone.”
