Turin, 8 July (LaPresse) – Actress and director Greta Scarano, alongside actor Nicolas Maupas, will host the opening and closing nights of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (2–12 September 2026). Greta Scarano and Nicolas Maupas will host the opening ceremony of the 83rd Festival on the stage of the Sala Grande (Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido) on the evening of Wednesday 2 September, as well as the closing ceremony on Saturday 12 September, during which the Lions and other official awards of the 83rd Festival will be announced.
