Rome, 20 July (LaPresse) – ‘Odyssey’ tops the box office in its first weekend following its release in Italian cinemas. According to Cinetel figures, Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster took in over 2.4 million euros on Sunday (2,429,334 to be precise), attracting 274,853 cinema-goers. Since its Italian release, the film has grossed 9,993,841 euros. Two animated films follow: ‘Minions & Monsters’ took in 230,516 euros on Sunday (total: 5,991,499 euros), whilst ‘Toy Story 5’ earned 88,088 euros on the last day of the week (total: 8,540,306 euros).
