Rome, Aug. 26 (LaPresse) – The world of cinema is mourning Tim Curry. The British actor died at the age of 80 at his home in Los Angeles. According to specialist website TMZ, he had been suffering from serious health problems for more than a decade. Curry first made his mark in theater and then in cinema with his masterful portrayal of Frank-N-Furter, the protagonist of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In 1990, he played the killer clown Pennywise in the TV miniseries ‘It’, based on Stephen King. He appeared in many other films, including ‘Clue’, ‘The Hunt for Red October’, ‘The Three Musketeers’ and ‘Legend’.
