Comprising 10 rare and previously unreleased recordings from his legendary archive, ‘Timeless’ is Prince’s first recording project to be curated to span all the major eras of his career, bringing together recordings made between 1977 and 2016 to create a comprehensive portrait of one of the most innovative and influential artists in the history of music. ‘Timeless’ is available digitally, on CD, on black vinyl and in a limited-edition purple marble vinyl release, exclusively at the Sony Music Store. Fans can also access exclusive retail offers and limited-edition ‘Timeless’ merchandise via Paisley Park and Prince.com, including collectables created specifically for the Prince Celebration 2026. ‘Timeless’ traces Prince’s extraordinary artistic evolution spanning nearly four decades, from his earliest studio recordings as a teenage prodigy in Minneapolis right up to one of his final performances. Earlier this year, The Prince Estate previewed ‘Timeless’ with the release of ‘With This Tear’ on 2 April, to mark the tenth anniversary of Prince’s passing. Originally recorded at Paisley Park in November 1991, the track stands as a testament to Prince’s extraordinary artistic uniqueness: he produced, arranged, composed and played every single instrument featured on the recording. Acclaimed by CBS News and other media outlets, the track was described by Rolling Stone as “deeply personal”, whilst Billboard praised its “stripped-back delivery”, highlighting Prince’s vocal performance and the piano arrangement. To mark the announcement of the album’s release, ‘Stone’ was released – a track recorded in the spring of 1995 and written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer and Jules Van Even.
