Gerber’s death was recorded on the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s portal at a rehabilitation facility, as reported by TMZ. Several U.S. media outlets also reported that a family representative had confirmed the death and asked that the family’s privacy be respected. The 27-year-old was Crawford’s and her husband, businessman Rande Gerber’s, only son, as well as the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. Gerber’s Instagram profile, where he had previously documented his battle with mental health issues and sedative abuse, is filled with messages of condolence. Last December, in a video on social media, he spoke for the first time about his use of antidepressant medication, saying that the frequency with which he took them varied “depending on what was happening in my life”. A representative for Presley’s mother, Cindy Crawford, father, Rande Gerber, and sister, Kaia Gerber, told People: “The family asks that their privacy be respected during this very difficult and painful time.” According to TMZ, an autopsy has not yet been carried out.
