Rome, Oct. 17 (LaPresse) – A big round of applause greeted Vincenzo Mollica as he arrived on the red carpet of the Rome Film Festival on the day of the screening of the documentary about Federico Fellini directed by Gianluigi Attorre. “Going to meet Fellini is a wonderful thing,” Mollica said on the sidelines of the event. “There was one thing you could always count on: you would return home a better person than when you had left, because of everything you had learned, everything you had experienced, everything you had understood about life.” “Fellini used nicknames for everyone, and he had one for me too,” Mollica recalled. “He called me Vincenzino. Depending on the day, if I had eaten a little too much, Vincenzone. He was the most important person my family and I ever knew and met. He gave us solidarity, beauty, hope. He showed us the right way to live life, the way it should be lived. That is what Fellini gave us, gave all of us: a way of living that made it worthwhile for life to still have great value. And he continues to give it that value, always.”
