Rome, 2 Nov. (LaPresse) – “I want to emphasise that what I said is exactly what I think. I believe I was at least owed a phone call, given the relationship I’ve always had with Mediaset and this programme, which I presented and loved for eleven years.” So said Iva Zanicchi, who yesterday spoke her mind on ‘Domenica In’, complaining that she hadn’t been contacted by Mediaset, which is set to bring back ‘Ok il prezzo è giusto’, a programme the singer presented for years. “I would have expected Mediaset to give me a ring to say, ‘Look, Iva, let’s bring back “Ok il prezzo è giusto”.’ But go f*** yourselves,” had said Zanicchi, who today apologised “for the ‘strong’ word I used, which I could have avoided. But that’s me – outspoken and sincere as ever.” Zanicchi then reiterated “my best wishes for great success to the new presenters too”, whilst emphasising, however, that “it would have been right, before it became public knowledge everywhere, to tell me as well”.
