Lodi, body found in the Adda River: it could be Jhoanna Nataly Quintanilla

Milan, Mar. 2 (LaPresse) – A body was found today in the Adda River along the Paullese in Zelo Buon Persico, in the province of Lodi. It is not ruled out that it could be the remains of Jhoanna Nataly Quintanilla, the 40-year-old babysitter murdered by her partner, Pablo Heriberto Gonzalez Rivas, who confessed to the crime but did not reveal where he had left the body. The corpse recovered from the Adda is extremely bloated and decomposed, indicating prolonged submersion in water. At present, it is unclear whether the body belongs to a man or a woman. The location of the discovery aligns with Gonzalez Rivas’ statement, as it is south of Milan in an area where the Adda’s current is strong. Firefighters are on the scene, along with Carabinieri officers from Crema and Lodi. Divers from Piedmont, arriving from Turin, are expected to retrieve the body. Gonzalez Rivas admitted to disposing of his partner’s body inside a suitcase in a "ditch" near Cassano d’Adda on the evening of January 25, approximately 17–18 hours after her death, which he claimed resulted from a sexual game gone wrong.
