Vatican City, April 23 (LaPresse) – Deep emotion and heartfelt sorrow were felt among the faithful attending the ceremony for the translation of Pope Francis' casket in St. Peter’s Square.
A nun became emotional at the thought that just on Sunday he had wanted to be among the people for Easter Mass.
Many foreigners came to pay tribute to the pontiff, including a Cuban woman who wondered, “Will there ever be another pope like him?”
The faithful gathered in the Vatican to offer their final farewell to Francis: “He deserves it,” several attendees said.
