Rome, April 27 (LaPresse) – "From an organizational point of view, it went very well. The city was clean, orderly, half a million people traveled by metro, over 4,000 volunteers distributed water and assisted the vulnerable, not to mention the large screens, traffic management, information booths, and interactive maps. Universal vocation, hospitality, and efficiency blended with 'great beauty.' Rome was brighter than ever." This was stated by the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, in an interview with Repubblica. The credit goes to "two important factors," he added. "The collaboration between institutions, national civil protection, the security chain – the prefecture, police headquarters, and the Ministry of the Interior – and the city of Rome sitting together at a table in complete harmony. Another example that the 'Jubilee model' works."
