Fregene murder: RIS investigation begins at the villa

Rome, 23 May (LaPresse) – The Carabinieri's Scientific Investigation Unit (RIS) has begun its investigation at the villa in Via Agropoli in Fregene, where Stefania Camboni, 58, was stabbed to death in her sleep on the night between 14 and 15 May. Massimo Gabrielli, lawyer for the victim's family, has appointed Luciano Garofano, former general of the Carabinieri and former commander of the RIS in Parma, as consultant. Dr Giulia Soldati is also participating in the inspection, ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Civitavecchia. The villa where the murder took place, located in the seaside resort of Fiumicino in the province of Rome, is still under seizure. Also present at this morning's operations was technical consultant Armando Palmegiani, a former member of the homicide division of the Rome police mobile squad and the forensic police, appointed by lawyer Anna Maria Anselmi, defence lawyer for Giada Crescenzi, the 31-year-old daughter-in-law accused of murdering the 58-year-old woman, who was killed with more than twenty stab wounds, four of which were inflicted to the heart and throat.
